Publish a template

List a Personal template under Community: fill the form, pass checks, add images, update or unpublish later.

Publishing adds your Personal template to the Community tab so other people can discover and deploy it. Your organisation’s rules or review process may still apply outside this guide.

Before you publish

  • You need a Personal template and permission to update templates and use uploads (if publish or images fail with an access error, ask an admin; see Roles and permissions).
  • Prepare a real short description and a long description (see lengths below). Short marketing blurbs alone are usually rejected.

Open the form

  1. Go to Templates → Personal.
  2. Click Publish on an unpublished template, or Update on one already in Community.

What you fill in

The form opens in a side panel. Labels in the product match the table below.

Field (in the UI)Rule
NameRequired.
Short DescriptionAt least 10 characters (text shown on cards and in search).
Template OverviewLonger rich text (same data as Body in APIs). The product requires at least 100 characters of plain text inside the editor. Add real paragraphs, not only a title line.
CategoryOptional; pick from the list if shown.
Card image (upload at the top)Optional icon for the listing.
Deployed previewOptional screenshot of the running stack.

Use Publish Template or Update Template at the bottom to submit. New uploads replace older images when publish succeeds.

After you publish

The template appears under Community for people who can see that catalogue. It still appears in your Personal list with Published / Update / Unpublish actions.

Unpublish removes it from Community for others. It does not tear down stacks people already deployed from that template; it only changes the catalogue listing.

Update a listing

Update (then Update Template in the sheet) changes name, Short Description, Template Overview, category, or images without creating a separate template entry.

Delete vs unpublish

Delete in the ⋯ menu works only when the template is not published. Unpublish first if you need to delete.

Expected outcome

Others can find your template under Community with the text and images you provided.
