dFlow for Agents
Connect AI coding agents to dFlow with MCP, agent skills, and the Cursor plugin — high-level overview.
dFlow exposes a hosted MCP server, open agent skills, and a Cursor plugin so AI coding agents can deploy Services, manage Environments, fetch logs, and watch metrics on the infrastructure you choose — including Worker Nodes you bring (BYOC).
Quick install
MCP server URL (OAuth only — no API keys). Point your editor or agent client here:
https://app.dflow.sh/api/mcpThen install agent skills (dflow-deploy, dflow-mcp):
npx skills add dflow-sh/skillsDetails: dFlow MCP and the plugin repo.
Choose your integration
dFlow MCP
Hosted Model Context Protocol server. OAuth into your organisation; agents deploy, manage, and read logs/metrics.
Agent Skills
Procedural skills (dflow-deploy, dflow-mcp) so agents know how to operate dFlow instead of guessing.
Cursor plugin
Install MCP wiring for Cursor and related agent clients against app.dflow.sh.
When to use each
- dFlow MCP — preferred for agent-native operations in Cursor, Claude, and other MCP clients. Reuses your organisation permissions after OAuth. Use this when the agent should create apps, attach compute, deploy, or inspect logs and metrics. Full tool list: dFlow MCP.
- Agent Skills — install alongside MCP so the agent arrives with dFlow-specific workflows (how to ship a stack, how to connect MCP) instead of inventing steps. Repo: dflow-sh/skills.
- Cursor plugin — fastest path to wire MCP into Cursor (and related setups documented in that repo). Repo: dflow-sh/plugin.
