Deploy an app
Add a Git-backed App Service to an Environment and deploy it on dFlow Cloud.
An App Service runs a web workload built from Git. Use this guide when you want dFlow to build and deploy a repository onto a Worker Node.
Prerequisites
- An Application with a Worker Node attached (see Getting Started).
- A Git repository. For private repos, connect a provider under Integrations.
1. Create an App Service
- Open your Application and target Environment.
- Choose Create Service / Add new and pick App.
- Set a name (lowercase letters, numbers, hyphens).
2. Connect Git
- Choose the provider (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, Azure DevOps, Gitea, or as shown in the UI).
- For private repos, complete OAuth or paste a token as prompted.
- Set repository and branch.
- Choose manual or automatic deploy when offered.
Automatic deployment on git push is supported for GitHub and GitLab integrations: when enabled, pushes to the configured branch start a new Deployment without clicking Deploy in the dashboard. Other providers may be manual-only depending on the UI.
3. Configure build and variables
- Set build / install commands and root directory if your app needs them.
- Add environment variables (static values, secrets, or reference variables to a database Service).
- Save.
4. Deploy
- Click Deploy or Redeploy.
- Watch build / deploy logs until the Deployment succeeds.
- Optionally attach a domain under Deployments and Operations.
Expected outcome: The App Service shows a successful Deployment and is reachable (or listed as running) in the UI.
If something fails
- Deployment issues under Troubleshooting
- Integration issues (Git / tokens)
- Logs under Deployments and Operations
